A New Day, A New Beginning :)

Everyday I get up, thinking to sleep again but the fear of being in the debarred list for short attendance opens my eyes wide & i lose all my sleep :P
The journey begins, being monotonous now, home to station & station to college, yet some elements as they say add spice or fun to life. Seeing people sleep standing in the metro or weirdly dressed people passing smiles or even the arguments with the autowala's. That’s how i start my day...
Every time i enter that gate, a new sense of enthusiasm is what i feel. Each day brings about new challenges, be it even the small classroom activities , we all find something new about ourselves every day, something that we never paid attention to. We find a reason to fight against ourselves, to strive with the best in us.
We realize no matter how much we crib on the small small things be it the increasing temperature or non-availability of Ac's :P , or the things that completely annoy us , we are here to overcome all of this , to build a brighter future, to be a successful person & not just an uncool geek with all the attention just on academics & none on the non-verbal or expressing skills :)

The controversial trio Rapid Fire

Swati, Palash and Sheeba: The students most featured in the BALLB rapid fire, now take their stands on the same questions. They are V.E.R.Y diplomatic, and almost always politically correct. They change answers frequently, and also try to bribe us to change a certain something said by them during the questionnaire.  So much for their dismay, this is the uncut, actual, original version of everything that was uttered in Shailja Ma’am’s office, which is never without one or two students.

Swati: Lets avoid controversy

My College

When I first entered my college i was actually trembling with fear was unconfident and nervous. But the first look promised me “everything will be fine JUST COME IN” and soon I realised this is the place where I always wanted to be.
My college taught me “BELEIVE IN YOURSELF AND THE WORLD WILL AUTOMATICALLY BELEIVE IN YOU”. It has pushed me to break all boundaries and barriers and do much more than what I think I can. I discovered my real potential here.
My college is the connecting link between by dreams and reality. I am assured that this is the place where my dreams will come out of my eyes, will take a concrete shape and the world will be able to see it.
Here I found true friendship, when I doubted its existence. Every single person in college is a friend. Anytime I need help I have many people around.  The good friends I am gifted here will always be there with me the environment is so enriching out here. In my college I am not only taught but also made to learn.
I am discovering the real me here and are in a process of creating my own unique identity and write my own destiny..........................................
As a kid I always heard “SABAR KAA FAL MEETHA HOTA HAI” after coming here I have started believing in it.

My First Ever M.U.N

24th feb .. row number 2 seat number 5 :D

Entering in that room
With people so new
Delegate of Maldives was a bit too confused :P
Knew nothing of it ,
What I had to do or what should I speak?
Then I asked delegate of Mexico who was sitting right next to me
What should I do ? :P
She told me to keep quiet & listen
I was lost in what was going
& then my chair asked me where was I lost?
Ooops did it show on my face that I wasn’t paying close attention :P
The 1st day came to an end :D
Second day started with pain
Which was caused by those stupid heels :P
Then I talked to more people & made friends to cherish
Delegate of Israel helped me & made me feel at ease
We talked & exchanged our views
A gang we had made by now,
Lots of questions did arise though
But none that could break the new bonds that were formed
The second day ended with a little leg pulling session
Where I was targeted with reasons unknown :P
Yet it was fun because that was better than the moderated caucus
The last day was the best up till now
Singing on the placards’ & writing what all we felt
It was great MUN to be in
The day ended with treat in GIP
Which made all of us come a lot closer
We still are in touch & hope to be forever
May this friendship die never ever :D

I learnt how to tackle crisis & speak without the slangs
& learnt international diplomacy
Seeing the rising demand for the unmod :P
To Behave orderly ,
I May have walked barefoot
All these days but I wouldn’t have bared it if i didn’t had you guys with me
It was a MUN I can never forget
Thanks to all those who made it a memorable event :D
- Purvasha Mansharamani

Higher education trains your mind to feel good later by making it feel terrible now.

Life that started on a rough edge
When I knew none to sit with
Then came a few
Who wanted to know me &
Tried to talk ,
Though they aren’t with me anyhow :P
Friends I did make but none that I could stick with
The times have changed
I know soo many of them now
People who are genuinely good & not fake
I am surrounded with people all so blessed
Let it be students or our teachers
The environment relaxes you mind
& teaches you how to grow silently
RACHEL, TANAYA , BHUMIKA , NIKHIL
RAHUL, ANUJ, ANISHA, VARUN
KAUSHIK , AYAN,  ANIRUDH , SHREYA
NIKITA, SHANKER, SHEEBA  , all of them are so good
The times we spend together are memories to be kept forever
Be it haldirams or dominoes
Or even the Chinese van next door
We see our foot prints everywhere
Not a place that is left
College is fun to be in
Achieving your goals with people so  learned
Is a blessing for all of us to be a proud part of symbiosis. :D
