                                                    Rocking Fresher’s Party 2011

It’s the time of life when a child enters a whole new world. Parents often tell their children that they have turned adult and now they have to be mature enough to handle their own lives.
I as a student, who just passed class 12th and now wondering how the life will go about, had many questions in my mind. My heart was full of fear. My parents kept me telling to be careful in taking decisions. Nobody knew what was going in my head and I think nobody could have understood. For me, it was a new life with much more responsibilities, increased study pressure (as everybody said), more exposure and greater independence.
Though I ranked 2nd in admission procedure of college, still lacked confidence the first day I entered the building of Symbiosis Law School, Noida. Questions regarding ragging, my seniors, my teachers and my director were troubling me.
As few days passed, we were informed about the ice breaking session to be held on July 9, 2011.The dressing code given to us was mis-matched clothing. Though the theme was awkward but still we were looking forward for a nice time with our seniors.
We, the students of LLB, were right there in front of Director’s room where the stage and decorations were made. The programme began with a play and performances by our seniors. Our seniors were not only full of talent but also had a lovely nature. The performances kept our mouth open and we, the fresher’s, were enthralled to see our seniors on stage. The mis-matched theme was a success. Everybody took it seriously and actually dressed in an improper manner. It was exciting and wonderful to see the creativity of our batch mates dressed differently, all under one roof….
The next were our performances and it was a session that was guided by our seniors. It helped us to bond with them and get to know them better. The icing on the cake was done by the songs sung by our Director Dr. Rawandale. He narrated incidents of his life by singing some famous old songs. I loved his singing. I just have no words to express how much I loved his singing. He, with the students, was just like a kid himself. Our Director is so good that he never lets us feel out of place.  He ensured that college was just another home for us.
After joining the college, all my doubts were solved. There was no such thing called ragging, of which I was so scared. The seniors are so friendly and cooperative. Everybody in college is ready to help at any time of the day.
Lastly, party ended with a D.J session. All the students of Symbiosis Law School Noida were dancing together. We, the juniors, were beautifully welcomed by our seniors. And I loved the environment of the college. Looking forward for a wonderful time and learning experience at Symbiosis Law School Noida.
