KNOW YOUR GOAL......

“Hitch Your Wagon to the stars”

We must set clear goals and have a vision if we are to achieve great things, says an old adage. After all, how can we reach our destination if we are ignorant of where we want to go?  If we do not aspire for something big and great in life, if we do not strive to seek it, the result would be a life of ignominy.

‘Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime,
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sand of time;

Lives of all great men like Napolean  Bonaparte, Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Teresa, Nelson   Mandela, etc. reveal, that each of them in their very early life had a dream, a vision of shaping their future  But this does mean merely a day dreaming or building castles in the air, for in the words of   William Shakespeare "Ambition should   be made of sterner stuff".  We need to relentlessly strive to achieve and realize our dreams.
Today’s youth seems to be quite indifferent to all these ideas. They are busy day dreaming, building castles in the air and wasting their precious time in merriment. They do not want to sacrifice their present so that they can have a better and secure future.

Not enjoyment, and not sorrow,
Is our destined end or way;
But to act, that each to-morrow,
Finds us farther than to-day

They fail to realize that they are the group of millions who could transform the world with their beautiful open-minded hearts and their incredibly brilliant minds is capable of innovations. Self-realization is the first step of a thousand mile journey of success. Youngsters, are quite afraid to experience setbacks instead they need to inculcate self-belief to counter new challenges. They should not be afraid of the backlash instead stand tall to do what they know in their hearts is right and just for humanity.
When they are purposeful, they can see a bigger picture and envision what’s important and meaningful, so that they can promote it for the maximum benefit of the world to make it a better place.
