The Escapade! ... Journey as an institute

17 months to a brand new building, a brand new set-up, a brand new institution! The only thing that was there was a dream. Dream to make this new structure, life. To make it home for all the people who were about to come here, students and faculty alike. Come to think of it, the faculty wasn’t local’; it was a very different place then the birth place of esteemed institution that Symbiosis is. Everything might have appeared vague.
And then, in this vague journey, the steps started to fall in place. From the first GD, PI in the campus, we await the 3rd batch of this college to come up in like another couple of months. Phew! Long journey. It gives a chill of pleasure to just stand at the main entrance and recall the first face to enter with a ‘not so sure’ expression. And now, thinking back makes each and every member who has been associated with the making it large process proud. Immensely, and entirely!
A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body.

From MUN’s to Moots, from parliamentary debates to conventional debates, from publications to research paper presentations, from extended guest lectures to national and international conferences, from drama to dance, from singing to bands, from basketball to cricket, we have been there, done it all, and we have made a mark. From loving and tremendously knowledgeable faculty, to dedicated and sincere students, this college has anything and everything.

We are recognised, respected, and remembered. We have managed to create such an identity in such a short span of time that sometimes it feels unreal. But then, probably naming it surreal would be much much better.

So let’s remember our obstacles and relieve the glory. Let’s take you back from where it all started. We’ll keep it simple. Like chapters of a novel, episodes of a sitcom. One by one, we will bring to you, from the pages of Sym Law Diaries, so that you understand and acknowledge the sweat and blood that has nurtured this seedling to the tall growing tree it is in the process of becoming.
