The Essential Elements :D

Jaideep: Here we start our own little adventure, symbiosis law school blog, yaay!  The Students of batch 2010-2015 are here to be gossip monglers, yes that. SLS Noida’s journey started on 6th December 2010. And at the end of one heck of a rigorous semester, here we are presenting the insights of what actually goes on at SLS.  The regular day’s work starts at 9, well not really. Not even in a blue moon a “Class” would have full attendance in the first lecture. Gah! We love to sleep don’t we?

Aadya:  Ah, that’s so not the only reason. Don’t you know? It’s NCR! The traffic. There are so many traffic jams in a way, how could we be there at exact 9? It’s unfair to blame everything on sleep. And then there are the metros. Power cuts, people! Sometimes, we hang in the train for half an hour, because there is a power cut.  Oh, and just so you don’t get the wrong ideas, our full class strength is around 60, and the present students are almost always 40 above. The people, who are late, reach till 9:20! That is how eager we are to attend college. Seen this sincerity, anywhere else?

Jaideep: Wow wow wow. Wait, you sleep. You stay right across the road. But whatever. College is fun. Teachers Amazing. And now we shall provide you with insights on our not so very “Old Faculty”.

Aadya: That would be one of the most awaited gossip of the campus, won’t it be?

Chandrashekar Rawandale

Well “Off course” he has made us “Comfortable” in this campus.
Well We never knew directors can be so young and energetic.  He is a very rare  director who actually feels for the college, a director who is available all the time and who can link us and our needs, understand us. He is a man who could get any work done out of us- “the most uncivilized breed of all”.  His personality is “Positive and sincere”. Symbians look forward to be like him. He is Our very Personal “Hero”- Mr Chandrasekar Rawandale.
(Jaideep & Arveena.)

Mohammad. Salim

And now we shall introduce you to a person who totally justifies the proverb ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!!! :P Well he is the one who scanned many of us while the selection process and yes; he did scare us initially..!! But honestly he is that one person who wants to put in as much knowledge as he can in all are sleepy heads early in the morning…!! Ok, wait! This doesn't mean we sleep in his class…its just that its hard to stay up, since we are ALWAYS sleep deprived!! :P But then his epic "Exactly!!!” help us survive through those 90mins…he is a man who would go out of his way to help us, whether its in projects or assignments. We always have him for any assistance we need. And one little secret about him? He also writes Shayari's :D Yes, yes, He does. Go ask him! Symbites are glad to have him as a part of the faculty. He is none other than our very own “hashim amla” sir…AKA.….MOHAMMAD SALIM.
(Shreya and Aadya)

V.K. Pandey

“You See” since we are talking about our faculty, how can we forget the “man who has it all"! A person who thinks that we are “born intelligent”!! :P ; which unfortunately we are not. His “amazing’ sense of humor is something which we all “appreciate”, as it doesn't make the class “monotonous” or lets just say it makes the class somewhat “interesting”!! :P But to be honest, he is truly a gem of a person who tries his level best to make us understand each and every bit of the topic. We totally appreciate his “down to earth” nature and his sincerity towards his profession. Wish we could embark/ inherent a bit of it :)
So here’s introducing to you another member of our faculty : Mr. V.K PANDEY!! :D
(Shreya and Arnav)

Shailja Saxena.
“Alright? You get it”?
A very kiddish yet mature voice calling  out to you in class. We look forward to her lectures. Her Command is amazing and her name is “Shell ja” Maam, as most students call her. Her unique teaching style and amazing mentoring skills make her the most awaited teacher at SLS NOIDA. She has made us do crazy activities in class, we have laughed, been embarrassed, and recognized one or more of the hidden talents we had in us.She is Funny ,witty and a drama- queen, yes all English teachers are that. A woman who has a weird smile, yet striking and it won’t be a regret to say that most of the guys at SLS Noida had a crush on her. She is our very talented, very own Miss. Shailja Saxena.

(Jaideep and Aadya)

Saumya Mishra
Literally she is the prettiest thing on campus. Visits us Once a week. Has anyone noticed, guys in BA mostly have full attendance on Thursdays, yes thats when she visits us. She was the first one to take us on a trip. Fun loving, Strict, Elegant. And Nevertheless, “Guys Please LISTEN”. Her trademark is her strange hairdo, a huge some of Kaajal and multiple series of rings. I might not say fashion disaster but fashion misspelled :P oh, and yes, I so totally forgot to mention! "Observe!" her first word in the word class, has made people so aware, that all the absolute senseless observations are made every second in our class. Also, every example she gives begin from, "On a sunday, you make plans with your girlfriends, or boyfriends, or whoever :P" Yeah, faculty she is, which no outsider would ever believe :D Miss Saumya Mishra!
(Jaideep and Aadya)

Professor THIKNA.
The B.A LL.B students know what I am talking about, our very own incomprehensible history teacher Mr. Rajiv Kumar. The only teacher who gave into us and had to talk all about his recent wedding, and thanks to him, we totally know how a typical “North-Indian Shaadi” is. He gave us assignments to write at the beginning of every class, and that was our only time when we were usually paying attention in his class. Nah, not the interest of writing, we were marked on that. Hmm, so, we totally had to check our hearing powers because he has a wonderful “ascent”. But truly enough, he is one heck of a hard working man. Any other teacher would have given up on the “ati-jungli” lot of students, who refused to even write in his class. But then, he had stuck with us, and the bottom line is, has made us respect him with every lecture of his. Mr. Rajiv Kumar
(Aadya)

Shikha Priyadarshani: Student or a Teacher???...: p

Oh! Well, our academic co-ordinator, who has always been seen as a “friend , philosopher and guide” . She is young, dynamic and charming and undoubtedly she is the “Great Dane” of our college. Well, sarcasm is not one of our strong points so we would leave it on that. She has been Helpful and Caring. Our First M.U.N trip was planned by her, and we all so loved it .She is the “MAIN LINK” between the faculty and the not so well civilized students. She has pampered as well as given us a tough time..:P!! .Though she has  always been  on our back to provide us with any kind of assistance that we required.which had always been along the lines  of eating up our brains. :P Yet the most amazing mentor you could find at SLS Noida. She has taught us the ABCK of business organization, now we won’t get you in details. This is it, rest you shall discover once you meet her in person.
(Shreya Seth, Jaideep Sood and Arveena Sharma)

"Push”pa Negi: A “motherly figure” on campus...

Her name says it all....she has always “pushed” us to give it our best short in a subject which most of the sciencies dreaded:  “ACCOUNTS”. For many of us accounts was like greek, however her belief in us , always helped us to find our “way” out...she made us understand  the concepts in such a manner that in an attempt to understand the “actual” concept of accounting, we literally forgot what we were actually suppose to understand...:P!! Well that doesn’t mean that we forgot accounts...its just that we found a totally different logic, that was “to learn”  accounts while you do it..... :P!!
She is that one person, who reassures us that we still are not out of “our schools” ,whether it  is scolding us for having lunch in between classes  or not letting us go out to have water...she has done it all!! We sincerely respect and adore her, for all the care and responsibility she has taken..!!

Hey Symbians, Pleasure to hear form you all! Your words reminded me of my grandma who used to call me 'hero' and always adviced why I joined academics than entertainment industry. She surely will be happy to hear the word coming from my little brothers and sisters. Appreciated! As I always say and firmly believe that you all are the real inspiration behind me which instills confidence and get me going everyday. Always there for you all! Nice to know that you all are "comfortable".
